You mean "never missed a release date with an exact date" . Almost all their games have "missed released dates", Blizzard is THE company known for its endless delays and going "it will release when it is done". So by the time they actually give an exact date, you can be certain they've delayed a few times already by only giving a year or quarter of release and even getting that estimate wrong ;)

yup, and they have people having sleepless nites wondering when whatever will be released. record sales get shattered virtually every time they release a game(months or even years) late.

and only blizzard can get way with it :p
 
So a friend of mine said that there was a big launch party type thing for Starcraft 2 at the cape town offices for blizzard. Apparently a bar tab and so free gift giveaway and such. I want to find this place for cataclysm launch, but google is failing me and said friends is incommunicado atm.

People here know I play WoW so they will suspect if I go "sick" on launch :p
 
All of my bosses know I play WoW. The first thing I said this morning is that I'm thinking about taking that day off. When they heard it was the release date, they just said not to think about it, but to do it.

They are also gamers. Mostly SC2 lately, and they can be worse than me. Last couple of days they have been playing up to 3 in the morning and I'm the one getting in bed early :D
