Warning for missing an email deadline?

Employers seem like ****ing Nazis.
Things like that makes me appreciate my work environment immensely. I'm especially grateful that my employer would do anything to retain staff, instead of chasing them away.

Yeah, you're lucky, sounds like an awesome place to work.... Still looking for it, maybe before long I will also find it

No further feedback from the OP? I guess he was fired after all

Sheesh, this is rough mine. I actually feel personally offended for you.

If I get a warning for missing an "email deadline", I will throw my sh#t to the floor. WTF is that man.

I mean fighting this thing seems like a schlep? Career change time?

What line of work are you in?

Keep your nose clean and work to rule.
Good advice & OP should definitely do that. Won't save the day though. Corporates can essentially fire anyone they like because there are so many rules that you can't possibly keep up. In HR records everyone essentially already has 3 strikes against them. They just don't pull that rabbit out of the hat unless there is a reason to.

It was instructive to learn that I'm pretty much the only recent joiner at my employer that actually read the employee book cover to cover. Thats with the contract clearly stating the book forms part of the contract...yet nobody reads it. :erm:

Whats unusual here is that they're low-quality strikes and certainly sounds constructive. Doubt you can prove it though.

Personally I'd be inclined to cut my losses tbh.

Run and run for the hills,
Ccma if you can otherwise, get out before the real damage is done, dissmisal WILL hurt you badly in the next job, don't even bother if you've been dismissed previously, no matter how good you are.....

Please can we name shame and destroy this company?

Lots of well rooted individuals on here who has some pull.

Let's make history and come together as a community and land him a new job and in the process expose this company

Count me in... if he can tell us where he is based, and what kind of work he does, I can put the feelers out here or see whats on the careers board.

Dear OP
Please advise me via PM which kind of work you do and all that so I can put your name forward on the jobs list at my workplace
