Has anybody tried CCProxy? Its a Proxy Server for Windows. After Emailing there support staff they claim the software is robust enough to handle of 1500+ Users at a time. I would like to know what you people think of this compared to other alternatives like TMG from Microsoft, ClearOS, IPCop, Untangle, ect ect

I have used Smoothwall Express and Untangle for my clients and they are both great products ...... and free. :)

I particularly like the feature in Untangle of emailed reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Great feature when clients don't have the time to manage their network and internet usage.
I get the reports mailed to me and any anomalies I advise them. Builds great customer relationships.

Will checkout ccproxy though.

I've used it before. Really didn't seem built to handle more than about 5 users...

+1 it uses iexplores cache as it's own cache, doubt Internet explorer can handle that.
