I bought this one in September last year, for an 8m x 6m lounge. It's working fine so far. Quiet, nice strong wind and a remote. The led lights is also good.

The best part re the remote is that it uses BLE to communicate. It was easy to connect it to Home Assistant, using an ESP32 and a script that someone on GitHub has already developed. This gives full automated control of the fan and the light.

If it’s a DC fan, which is suspect from the mention of 6 speeds then you are out of luck.

I’ve seen some Tuya options on Aliexpress but it’s was like R450 and I just gave up.

Won’t make the mistake of buying a DC fan again, they are quite useless compared to the only magically more expensive AC units I got from Brightstar.

Manages the 1/2/3/Off of the fan itself and then turns the lights on and off as well.

I don’t know what you mean by dimming exactly, but mine have three light modes for Warm, Cold and Warm/Cold and it just cycles between them by turning it off and on just like the standard controller does.
 
We bought one of these this last weekend for our TV lounge, electrician should be coming on Thursday to do the wiring and rewire the one in our lounge which is wired through a light circuit.

We have fans in three of our bedrooms, our office and kitchen two are manual but the others are remote with temperature sensing, most of them run constantly in summer.
