Cool. I actually removed mine from the housing so it would fit.Yup it’s identical so you can easily swop them out without having to worry if it will fit.
The “canopy” is designed for it to slot into.

We bought 2 of them about 3 or 4 years ago. They work well, are nicely balanced and are fairly quiet. They push a good amount of air through. They are both still on the original remote batteries (that were not included...)
That is what I've got in my bed room and you're correct it does push a lot of air and the remote is cool
It has an LED bulb in no problem, the distance between ceiling and fan is about 40cmWas searching for ceiling fans and came across this thread.
What is the distance from the ceiling to the blades more or less?
Also is there enough space for a LED bulb? Some of the reviews I read of other ceiling fans the people complained that there was not enough space for the bulb?

My fan's pull string switch for the light has given up the ghost and need something to replace it with.
Edit: Clarification
Ah. Those are dime a dozen though, been around for decades.LOL.
Sadly it's the switch part that doesn't work. The original string is still there and like new condition. The switch doesn't work at all. It would've been fine if the light was in the on position when it broke. I could then just have used a smart bulb, but it was off and there's no way to switch it on now.
The switch inside the fan itself? I'm totally clueless when it comes to electrical stuff.Ah. Those are dime a dozen though, been around for decades.

the replacement switch has 4 terminals ,you also get a remote controlled unit to replace the switch ,very easy to replace just transfer the wires from terminal to terminal ,old to new .most just push in .no Tool needed ,so even most wives can do itThe switch inside the fan itself?
