Hi guys


What's your thoughts on the Cell C data promo of 100gb for R999 valid for 365 days

It seems like a no brainer but I'm worried about them throttling speed etc
 
Mine is working fine.


Update: 09/2016
Getting ping drops from around 18:00 - 21:00 so no longer suitable for gaming like it used to be when I got it...

Interesting, I was under the impression that you can add it to a prepaid sim so setup a 66c/min Sim then add the 100GB bundle.

The 100GB sim working like a dream on my new LTE router
 
I wonder if you can load multiple bundle, say 200 for night data and 100 for when the 50 is depleted for day

Try changing the tariff plan on your giga card it won't allow you to do it

If that was allowed the promotion would be available on USSD

You can't buy this via USSD menu. You have to physically go to a Cell C shop, pay R999 and have them load it for you.
I'm curious: did you purchase R1k worth of airtime? That ought to last you a while! If you did, it won't count. You must spend more money at Cell C.
 
Is this deal still available? I purchased this deal at the cell c store when it launched and need another now.
 
It was a couple of weeks ago, they are hyping some announcement for the 1st of Oct so don't know if it will be after that
 
Seems to be the cheapest prepaid data mobile deal out there. Have no choice if you want to save and not on contract.

So after a year, mine just ran out. Excellent value. Is there any way to top up?

Yes, I just go to my nearest cellc shop with the sim number, and they top it up. They can also lookup the number using your ID number.
