Just a heads up!! Cellc is now selling their 50 + 150Gb prepaid data sim for R999 in store.
So if you have a decent cellc connection in your area go for the deal. Usually Advertised @ R1799.

Did you see it advertised ?If so source please ?

I have a rather good LTE Cell C signal at home .

It's not advertised. I bought it at this price on Saturday. The advertised price is still R1799.

Thanks , ill pop in to my local Cell C store tomorrow and check , hope its still at that price .

Just confirmed with the Cell C shop where i bought my data sim. They have stock & it's still R999 for the 50 + 150Gb

Where can one find the call rates and data rates for Cellc packages. I could not find it on their website.

No, went through a few.
Wouldn't mind finding another @ this price.

Both Cell C stores in my vicinity always have to order these so doubt I could get it at this price.

If you are in the area of the official LTE launch, it should be stock in shops.
Otherwise wait for 15 November for the official rollout in major cities. There will be new stock in these areas, maybe new deals as well.

I still have a gripe with that "Giga200 package with free Huawei B315 router R999" - after messing me around and initially blaming head office for not supplying them with the router, Rosebank branch refused to include the router in the R999 package.

Cell C have come back to me and admitted that the advert included the router, but that's as far as it's gone.

It is a good price without the router, but it as I bought it on the 21st they should have included it!

Yip, valid for 3 months and waiting half day in the queue. ;)

It was even better deal without a queuing, but you had to shop around to get it (or be nice a bit) :)

You can still get this package R999 if you shop around, but without router. Still a good price.

There haven't got stock for the package with the router, as you wrote in your thread. Thank you for posting this, so I could get this deal on the last day.

Thanks Cell C Rep for finding the shop and the personel at the shop as well. They did actually big favour to me, as they assembled together two different packages. It required to phone managers to approve transaction, but all things didn't take more than half an hour. And the other guy at the shop got this deal in the same time.

Rosebank branch initially (when I went to the store on the 16th & again 17th October) said that they didn't have any routers in stock - when I returned on the 21st October they had them in stock, but the manager wouldn't include it (said the prepaid R999 & R1399 packages were excluding the router!!).

It didn't help that I mentioned the mybroadband and my Cell C rep email & telephonic confirmations of the inclusions. He wasn't interest!

That's why I'm bummed out - I had an opposite experience to you.
