Cell C 42Mbps HSPA+ here in April 2011

I really hope this goes along with some added 3G coverage... <hint hint>

What I wonder most is how/if this will affect their current prices on data?

Will this increase the speeds achieved with the older 21Mbs dongles? Perhaps get the real world speeds closer to 21?

Didnt Cell C say in one of the previous articles that they are not interested in LTE and will be focusing on upgrading their HSPA + network. They seem to change their minds on a very frequent basis. But this is very interesting regardless.

I'd like to know this as well. I'm sure it'd be relatively easy to find using Google, but something a tad more official from Cell C's side would be appreciated.

If i look at the cellc map regarding coverage in the N/Cape, i see a very very large area not covered. Still lots of work for you cellc.

I'm really hoping that this will improve the coverage and speed for my house. But I doubt that it will. The tower will remain the same distance from me and I will still get the same measly 1Mb throughput. Oh well

MAN! Cant wait to get out of my hellish MTN contract and move on over to Cell C.

Don't do the Contract with CellC either. Just get the R1499 package which includes the modem. Save up for it if you have to.
