Sorry to hijack your thread, but may I ask how you do call forward on CellC numbers? I want to forward my calls from my usual CellC phone to the phone I use when I go bike riding (also CellC).
I asked the call centre how to do this and came away confused, so now I do it using the website to change "Standard Services". Thing is, that's a real time-waster and inconvenient when you want to get going on your ride.
With Vodacom I set up a call forward and put in the destination number once, and after that it was a short USSD code to activate and deactivate forwarding.
@Cell C Rep;
Could you please provide a list of MMI call forwarding codes?
As per example; to the mailbox of number: +27 84 888 8888
Always (unconditional) forward to mailbox
Forward when busy, specifying the delay times
Forward when unanswered, specifying the delay times
Forwarding when unreachable
And or any other codes you might have access to, that are valid and you are in a position to share.
Since after four attempts in obtaining the above information from your call centre, I am yet to receive a valid and accurate answer.
I have consulted your website; however it provides the following information, which is of no value; http://www.cellc.co.za/technical-faq;
"How can I set up Call Forwarding?
Consult your user guide to enable or disable this feature."
Your prompt and accurate response would be appreciated.
Regards
m
EDIT: Solved
I have managed to set most of the forwarding options online via: http://www.cellc.co.za/my-account and the functioning mailbox forwarding number now reflects as; +27 84 148 888 8888.
There is also an option to save all your contacts online, blacklist caller numbers and have individual messages (predefined & custom) played to specific incoming numbers, which is rather handy. These options are available at: https://www.cellc.co.za/mytools
