Cell C data extenda 1GB valentine's validity period

I would like to take Cell C up on their deal. Buy 200MB (or more) data extenda for R49 and receive free 1GB along with the 200MB (or more).
I need some clarification here. Is the 1GB valid only on Valentine's day? If not, we'll be spending a third of what a regular gig costs (R149).
