Cell C data prices reduced

The pricing is obviously not the same. OOB rate is different, meaning that pricing is potentially VERY different.

Was about to say, let's do a GB out of bundle and then see how "the same" they are. :D

I bet you won't hear anything about this from either of them (J & H). :p

Did you notice you were pretty far into the thread and the only one who picked this up?

Vodacom had these prices out a few weeks ago already. On both contract and TopUp.

Did you notice the OOB rate?

Good for you, now how about explaining why Vodascums call rate is not 99c/m/psb/an/at?
Or why your cannot compete with the Giga 20 Offer?
Or why your OB rate is not 15c/MB?

:wtf:

South Africa's current mobile data pricing has really been shaped by Cell C's aggressive strategy. Who would have thought all those years ago...

I just want an uncrapped phone deal. Seems none of the suppliers are there yet.

How about:
  1. Here are the phones. So much for cash. So much for paying off over 12 mnts (slightly more than cash). So much for paying over 24 mntsh (slighly more than 12 mnths))
  2. Call time on 24 mnth contract at x c/sec. Call time on 12 mnth contract at x+. Call time on prepaid x++
  3. sms as above
  4. Data/MB same as above

Pick one from each of 1 - 4 above to create your contract. Leave option out to select prepaid and bolt it on as you go. It just makes sense that you get cheaper rates if you are willing to sign a longer term agreement. If rates go down over the duration of the contract, yours should as well.

The despotic big chief of the country formerly known as Southern Rhodesia is your mother's brother!

How hard can it be?

Providers should reward you for that contract you signed with them and encourage you to stay with them when it is done. In the 10 years that I have had contracts, I have only once continued with a new contract from the same company and that is because my employer paid.
