Cell C extends 99c per minute international destinations

Great that Cell C has a rep on the forum,this is really spurring me on to change over now from mtn prepaid when my data bundle expires end of this month....just need to test out your 3g speeds in my area first.Already have my wife on Cell c Blackberry contract but I know that BIS 3g speeds are usually slower than normal network 3g speeds on mtn and voda so i'm assuming it'll be the same for cell c.

Reading between the lines again states clearly All Cell C customers on Contract, Prepaid, TopUp/Controlchat automatically qualify for the 99c overseas call rate. - I am assuming this is a promotional period for normal Prepaid, TOP UP/Control chat users to take advantage of the promotion and thereafter normal rates apply for them but the 99c users will have those prices. .

We have already lodged the 99c tariff as a permanent rate with ICASA, effective 19 July. So you will be able to dial 38 countries at 99c per minute, on per second billing from today, with the rates set to be our permanent rates (non-promotional) from Thursday.

Basically they can do a promo immediately, but for permanent changes they need to wait for ICASA approval.

Yep +1 they are definitely attracting me back,I had a cell c sim card on pre paid 10 years back but then moved to MTN due to lack of 3g on cell c...going back end of this month with a straight up package,tired of being raped by MTN.

Now just to decide which package to take out....
