Cell C Fail to deliver

I applied for an apple SE contract online. the whole process dragged until after weeks all was approved I even got a delivery confirmation call. a week after that call the phone was still not delivered, I called the call center and strangely, they did not know what I was talking about. i emailed the sales agent and he told me i should have received an sms(Which i did not receive by the way) saying "Sms Sent: “Thank you for choosing Cell C, there may be a delay on delivery of your order due to the popular demand of your chosen handset”
"The device you requested was on our Black Friday deals and we had a lot of orders that’s the reason you have not received it. It’s out of stock (Back Order) but as soon as we receive stock your order is first on line."

that alone, i found ridiculous because my application was done way long before black Friday. fast forward to today, i called to follow up and im told the phone will be available end of December. How does that happen? i apply for a phone because i need it not to wait ridiculous weeks for it. because i hardly have time to go to the shops, i assumed online would be convenient for me. but clearly i was wrong. i then asked if i can rather go to a shop and collect from there, i was told no. i mean if everything is approved why cant there be a solution that i get the phone.? will i ever get this phone or i should just cancel and forget? can someone just assist me and stop giving me the run around.
 
I have also opted for the iphone se 64gb from cell c as per their black friday special. It has been weeks later and have not received any feedback about the phone. I was told that there are no 64gb iphone se in durban all have been dispatched to the jhb branches. Durban only has 32gb and currently there are no stock of the phone due to the large number of phones they have sold, i should wait until they have stock.
This is absolutely ridiculous. Why offer something you do not have, and why is it that all the 64gb have been dispatched to jhb?

my mom applied for me also for the iphone es this year in september. it has been two months now. she was told she will recieve the phone in less than a week but it has not come yet and they dont even call her to update her. cellc sucks
