Cell C is offering South Africans the opportunity to test drive its network for free with its new “free test SIM”.

Cell C said that “once you’ve tried it, you will see why we are so confident in our network, and why you should move to Cell C”.

Recently I grabbed a CellC SIM and popped R20 of data on it to test... it convinced me not to move to CellC. I'm not sure this is going to work well for them.

I will give them this one, i think it's very fair of them to allow people to try them out before risking that buy-out. As bad as their network is there are places where it works and this helps customers decide if they want to move without the risks
