Cell C has failed – Analyst

This is my experience from the 3 operators, I live on a farm and the 3G signal is dodgy at best.
  • MTN= Full 3g signal. But if the tower goes down or has a problem you can just leave it, their support to report a faulty tower does not exist they will also never get back to me.
  • Vodacom= Bad 3g signal and congested tower during the day. Support is okay. they told me they will be adding extra tower in the next year or so to fix the congestion.
  • Cellc= Full 3g, Speed are find can be bad at nights now and then like once a week or month. Support was amazing. Tower was down for 2 days. Logged a fault with them on twitter and the tech that does the towers in our area gave me his number. Now if the tower goes down I just sms him and he sorts it out in a few hours or so. I am very happy now with them and just sticking with them.

Does it mean that Cell C shall be absorbed by other Service providers.?? Or should one Migrate now.?

I am staying put. CellC as long as there is signal.

+1.Not going back to Vodacom's rip off pricing again.Plus Vodacom doesn't even have signal where I work there is literally nothing you can't even make a call properly, let alone use data.

Cell C is also pretty dodge operational wise.

The word is "dodgy".

Dodge is to move out of the way.

Cell C has not failed, this article is just one man's opinion, one man who many claim has shares in Vodacom. If that is true then his opinion on Cell C is irrelevant.

You're fine on Cell C they'll probably still be around in ten years time and longer.
