It's a joke. They promised 3G in Potch since March 2011 as far as I know. Each month it was just postponed to the next month.
Only had EDGE here.
Yet it didn't stop the local Cell C store from selling 3G Sticks to those people who didn't know.
Have about 3-4 friends who had to battle for months to get their money back, cause even with the poor EDGE, you couldn't manage anything. At all.

I also suffered cause I was on Virgin Mobile. Good luck loading a website on your phone let alone try to check your email.

Too little too late. Basically everyone in Potchefstroom is on Vodacom or MTN because Cell C dropped the ball big time. The damage was already done.

Well that's an over-exaggeration if I ever saw one. Yes they're late, but its definitely not little, nor too late. At least the people of Potch now have a 3rd option, which also happens to be the best and cheapest option.

Give them a break a high speed 3g network doesn't get built in a day,I had the same thing here in vereeniging and stuck with MTN but now that we are fully covered with Cell C EVERYBODY who was previously on Cell C complaining are now praising them and the effect has been positive because of the great rates now in place.

Vodacom and MTN still haven't dropped their prices and their networks are slower so its not too little or too late at all.

I changed over around 3 months ago from MTN and so far my experience on cell c has been great.
