So I sent Cell C a email in the beginning of Feb about their R399 Iphone 5 deal. I got a reply saying stock is 3 weeks away so I decided to wait. Today I phone my local Cell C store and the lady tells me I need to be put on a waiting list and it will take approxiately 2 months before they get stock, what?? So I phone Vodacom and ask them if they have stock and the guy tells me they got in today and is expecting more tomorrow. Am I being bull****ted by Cell C or does Apple only give Vodacom stock. I'm not going to wait 2 months for a phone, I would rather just pay more per month and get LTE etc..

Any advise?

I have the same problem. I have a contract I that ends on the 28th with vodacom that I want to port to Cell C's R399 16GB iPhone 5 deal.

I was told that stock is only going to come in when the deal has ended. Please can a Cell C rep pm me or tell me what the story is.
I have spoken to the Pavilion, La Lucia and Gateway branches in Durban and I get conflicting information.

I really don't want to continue the contract with vodacom but it seems like I'm going to have to...

Went to local VodaShop when iPhone 5 came out, created application; No stock of course, Waited three days, got iPhone.

Phone was iStolen over December vacation, laid claim against Cellsure and waited a day or two for approval. Went to local Vodashops, no stock. Went to Vodaworld, walked out with new iPhone in under two hours.

Cell C might be cheaper, but Vodacom is better in certain areas.

Actually it's quite pathetic - the missus has been waiting for well over a month now.
