Hey guys.
So in the beginning of 2016 i got the Cell c data promotion. This included a mifi router, 5gb day time and 15 gb night time data all for R99pm.
So last month(March) my contract expired, meaning it is now month to month. I got a bill for R200 on April 7 or so, I called Cell c to ask why they were now charging me R200 for a contract that I have been paying R99 for, and the answer was that it’s because when I got the package it was on promo.
It doesn’t make sense because the router has been paid off and they only gave me 5gb without any night data. I am basically paying an extra R100 for less now and I feel ripped off.
Telkom also had a promo back on 2016 for Uncapped LTE for R599(they have the same promo now but for R799) when the contract is finished they charge their customers R525 since the router has already been paid for after 24 months, so why does Cell c think they can charge me more but give me less. What can I do about this.
