Cell-C / IS "fixed" LTE

Waiting for sim provisioning. Apparently can take up to 24hrs!

I assume, extra data doesn't get carried over to the next month?

Apparently i was speaking to soon. Again Red light and no service. This is really getting fcking irritating.

I wish, Not even 4Meg speeds.. Map shows I have full coverage. I get 30 to 50meg download speeds on RAIN LTE and I am 2 roads away from the coverage area so should not even have signal.

That’s how they do things, I did my order on a Thursday but they only called me the following Wednesday to confirm my delivery address . My delivery date was supposedly yesterday(Monday) but I only got the delivery sms today . I think you might get your order next week maybe Thursday or Friday.

Thanks for that. You answered my question better than the consultant, who acted as if the lack of info was the strangest thing ever - and told me I should rather call the accounts department between 8 and 5. "In fact, I'll ask them too when I get in tomorrow, but you need to give them a call." Ookay bud.

Before he could give me the number, the call mysteriously cut off. But I'll give him the benefit of the doubt because my phone connection is crappy on the best of days.

Yeah it doesn’t seem like they are very good with communication. I find it better to just let them do their thing instead of calling them, and like someone mentioned never change the delivery date and time or this could delay your package even more. Just make sure you are home when they tell
You to be.

@Pretoria Peeps,

I tested last night @6, @7, @8 and @9.
The worst speed I got on CellC was 35mbps and the best 55mbps. I ran the same tests with RAIN, The best speeds i got on RAIN was 5mbps but it was averaging t 4mbps. This morning RAIN was running at +- 32mbps, CellC was 85mbps.
But thats it for me promoting this service, same thing happend with Telkom LTE Uncapped, then RAIN and we all know what happend to them. So lets keep this our secret so that everyone does not flog over to CellC and in return deteriorate our service.

Good day.Your LTE- Advanced order will be delivered today between 9am and 5pm. Please check your parcel for any physical damage before signing the delivery note.

This is the about the best I'm able to get, sometimes just over 20Mbps. It just a matter of where I place the router. If I move it 5cm from where it is speeds can drop to 10Mbps. I'm happy with it though because the highest ADSL speed I could get was 4Mbps.

My setup still isn’t running. Shows a red light then goes to 4G then red light again. Anything else I can do here?

Here's what worked for me in the interface select settings > dial up > profile management > New profile
Profile name: INTERNET
Username and Password: Leave blank
IP Type: IPv4 & IPv6
APN: Leave blank

Save, select the new profile and apply. Then restart the router and wait about 2 minutes for it to connect.

I am also struggling to connect. Currently online with support. APN was changed to lte.broadband.is Still no luck! Try it. Might work for u.

Going to try this now. Will report back shortly

My router is still not here, waiting time for someone to take the call at digital planet is quote long.
