Cell-C / IS "fixed" LTE

For LTE-A you need at least a router with category 6 LTE and some form of carrier aggregation be it intra band, inter band contiguous or intra band non contiguous...
No the b315 can't do it? Should report as false advertising.

It never could. Axxess is false advertising since the start. I have logged a case with the ASA but I would suggest anyone to also lay a complaint simply quoting the router specs.

Switched my router off since it emits too much light at night. (It’s in the bedroom), now I am trying to connect and back to square one. Red light then blue. Tried playing with the profile settings again but still not working. It’s so frustrating.

Same here, rebooted the router last night and now refuses to connect. This was Axxess feedback, but no joy.

Hi

PLease log into your router.
- Go to settings
- Select profile management
- Create a new profile. Profile name will be
CellCLTE and apn must be set as
lte.broadband.is
- Save the profile and set as the default

Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Kind Regards

I am at work now. I will try that when I get back. Did it work for you?

nope....Leaving the APN blank as suggested work the first time around. Weird that this only affects some people, I have 4-5 bars reception. So this is the CellC tower or network rejecting the connection.

Leaving blank does not work me, through the mobile router you can't force LTE.

Seems to try and connect on 3g :(

I think the towers are overloaded....I'm going to force it to 4G only and religiously reboot every 5 minutes to see if it helps.

My office is covered on fixed LTE map, through my home is not.

It was working at my home before.

My home is covered on LTE-A map.

I have fixed LTE coverage yes, as mentioned I used to get 4-5 bars of 4G Lte signal.

So been 24h for me now, still not working, apperently there is a problem with their APN, tried the default, blank and lte.broadband.is one. Nothing, fark

Thanx to all the Guinea pigs - based on your reporting here, there is no way I am signing up for this now.
Can't believe there are no reps from Cell C and Axxess attending to this - your marketing is taking a serious knock here

Feedback from Axxess.

We have received reports from clients on Cell C LTE in the Johannesburg/Polokwane region that are experiencing intermittent to no connectivity currently. We have logged this with our upstream provider and await feedback. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
