Cell-C / IS "fixed" LTE

Still very slow and getting ping excess of 500ms. If switched to 4g only, it does not connect to the tower although I have full signal. On auto it connects but at 3g speeds. They did not fix it it seems, just 'made a plan'
Luthano @ Axxess is going to get back to me! LMAo

Cancelled with Webfrica - within 5 working days after taking delivery of the router.
Expecting a full refund in accordance with their Q & A at https://www.webafrica.co.za/knowledge/knowledge-base/webafrica-lte-qa/

Crap I have to go through another month, I was over the 5 days , got it for about 3 weeks already,also with WebAfrica. So have to go through March and April with the sim catching dust.
I am using Telkom prepaid now(40+40 gig), thinking of signing for the 24 month contract incase they remove the promo from prepaid.

Surely we should have a case in terms of not having to serve the 1-month notice period seeing as though the product does not perform as was promised and we were made to wait for their technicians to solve the (currently unresolved) issues.

Calling it fixed LTE, when it's broken.

Mine was off the entire weekend. It worked every now and again, but when it did work I got no more than 10mbps.
When I got this service (less than a month ago) I was hitting 90mbps. Even with the 10mbps I occasionally got this weekend, I cant do anything, Most pages does not load, some takes ages to load. Streaming is impossible. The month is almost half way through and yet I have been forced to only use RAIN (which is in its cancellation notice month). This is honestly BS, I canceled my RAIN for CellC since RAIN is pathetic, yet I can only use my RAIN :mad:

Mine's has been performing pretty well so far, just has high latency

Speedtest - before setting router to defaults (APN and DNS were changed as per previous recommendations)

Speedtest before changing default router settings.jpg

Signal strength on router with cable connection - 5 out of 5 bars. (Using external, mast mounted antenna - no arguments about router placement possible)

Speed test after router defaults settings applied.(No specified APN, no specified DNS):
Download = 8.74 Mbps
Upload = 9.36Mbps

Peak hours will probably be probably a dismal fail...

Has anyone got DMZ or inbound port forwarding working on the Axxess or Mweb Cell C service. I am not able to get it working. It works 100% fine on Rain and in the same router with Cell C sim with unrestricted APN...

In a way I cannot belief how bad the service from Axxess and Cell C have become. I friend got the B618 router. Spend 4 hours on the phone. Went to a Cell C branch because the SIM would disconnect all the time with no data flow. Not much support. Eventually he took it to a IT guy who wiped the SIM and did whatever he had to do to get it working again and all is well.

Now one has to ask why could Axxess or Cell C not do the same in the 5 days his new LTE-A service was not working.
