OK, so they do have execs but only in finance (plus the head of marketing and CEO)?

Why would they have 7 exco and 20 exec members in finance? They must be huge?

True but both of them together? I think they could have been head hunted by some other companies, or they know something about Cell C's future.
 
Someone must pay for those Hummers they're giving away and trimming a few execs might put enough cash on the table ... Cell C's Hummer Bummer.

1 Exec in Finance, Steven Bailey. 1 Exco in Finance, M. Ghadeyini


No-one else worth mentioning, except one of the above leaving in March 2008.

Lol who has shares in Cell C? they should be a little worried.
 
dont think Cell C is listed. so no shares. still some of these guys have been with Cell C for a hell of a long time, and yes it does seem a bit too coincidental that they're all leaving at once, but 6 or 7 years is a fairly long time to spend with one company especially in Telecomms in ZA. Engineers, technicians and even mangement are constantly moving around due to shortages of skills.

Cliff Sampson= 4 Months,
last 3 Franchise Co-Ordinators= average of 5 Months.
Key Account Managers= Average of 7.5 Months........

What are the industry averages for these positions - since u seem pretty clued up on whats going on
 
Cell C must be in serious trouble ...

I just got a call from Cell C where they stated that I'm one of "only" 100 people selected for a special Christmas offer on a Samsung E250 ... for only R99 per month. When I said no thanks the lady tried her best to convince me that I do need that extra free minutes cover per month ...
