Hello

Were can you see this on the router? Using RTL31VW LTE-A home router.

If i use the provided Paddle antenna i only get 2 Bar signal on router. I don't get any internet. Show's 3G connection, even when i switch in modem interface software. Using RTL31VW LTE-A home router.
XPOL-6 external Antenna i get 3-Bar signal on RTL31VW LTE-A I get 3-Bar signal and shows up in router but shows up as 3G no internet.

Poynting XPOL-2 external Antenna I get 3-Bar signal. It shows up in router RTL31VW LTE-A interface software shows as 4-G. Get internet.
With B618-22d modem and Poynting XPOL-2 external Antenna I get 3-Bar signal and get LTE in modem interface. Getting internet.

Yep you are right about that.....

A rep from Afrihost stated that there is too much congestion and therefore there is a jump in towers

Can you please explain why you say is LTE not LTE Advanced ? Because my understanding is 37.5 Mbps represent LTE cat 6 which supports 2 CA and true LTE is cat 4 which don't support CA or am I misinformed

Looking at speed it is suppose to be in the rang of 80+ Mbps range. That means if tower is not congested.
My opinion Cell-C is over sold

There is also conflicting information between threads. You wrote something, then things are changing, but you fail to correct your previous assessments in these places and start over and over again in a new thread. One things is for your defense: your router is piece of garbage. Get a better router and then follow suggestions given you by @cavedog.

Hi All

I'm cancelling my contract issues with Cell-C Tower congested. My opinion Tower upgrade will not happen soon.
I found out by a lady from Technical support that my Tower is congested.
That is why I'm cancelling. Not going to sit for with 24 month contract that does not perform.
Sadly one of the Network guys suggested switch "Roaming" on.
TC's say "No National Roaming while on LTE-A packages" There you have it.

Sorry about post in other threads that was due to response from other individuals. Also the point I was trying to make in those other treads, when info became available at that given stage.
