Cell C LTE tested: good results

Whoa, that latency, colour me impressed! Would definitely consider LTE over DSL if Centurion had coverage.

Wait until everyone starts using it, then those figures will start to drop. A network is always fast if you are the only one on it.

Is that on HSPA+? If so, it is very impressive indeed.

Yes this is done on my ipad 3
The max i got was 21.53Mbps down. Local speed test.
Normal at my house in westeRing pe is about 10 tp 15 Mbps. But can drop to 5. But most of the time it has very good speed.
Even my 8 ta card is running very good speed. My son plays xbox online and there is little lag. Just a shame about the price at vodacom........

Very true indeed - but we will test it a few months on and give feedback again.

Meh. Unless I get well over 60Mbps, I might as well stay on 3G. I demand between 100 and 1000 Mbps. I'll settle for 500Mbps.

haha, if you had told me in 2006 a South African would moan like this in 2013, I would have told you you're crazy, amazing how far we've come. Amazing :D

Misleading title, you couldn't find adequate signal and when you did you got average speeds.
MTN, Vodacom and 8ta has readily available signal in the areas they specified with much faster and consistent speeds.
Great results is misleading.

I am using a Galaxy S3 LTE with Vodacom LTE Enabled sim and I have not gotten faster than 15Mbps with an average around 10-12, regardless of where I am.

What's awesome though is the upload speeds also average around 10 - 12Mbps.
