Cell C multi-billion rand network upgrade plans

Not sure if they can do that. However it is a form of export subsidy. Direct subsidy is not allowed under international trade rules, whereas I guess soft loans are OK.
doesn't exactly stop the Chinese and Americans though - partly because the adjudication process is open to a lot of commercial gamemanship and export credit is permitted so you can effectively subsidize exports pending settlement so it really does amount to shouldering the risk until uptake.

soft loans are also applicable

Tell me when its working - and i can SEE the difference.

Its working where I am,also it was working pretty well when I was in Durban last on my iphone 5.

Here's a test I did just now, fast enough for what I do on my phone, the most taxing is youtube now and then which plays smoothly.

It works.

TM uses Huawei. They all use Huawei for the radio access network. If they showed true initiative, they could actually co-locate and share equipment costs.

MTN and TM are working on that...
Strange that they would all use one vendor. Im sure MTN is on Ericsson or is that their legacy infrastructure.
