Cell C MyTools end-date announced

Getting voice mails via email was pretty nifty.

The SMS i got (and the article i think) says this feature will still continue.

Bank sms did not display on Mytools due to security

This is the only feature that will stay for now, so do not worry.

Its such a pity, because it was incredibly useful. The feature that simply sent "Private number" callers to voicemail with a friendly message saying "This subscriber does not accept calls from blocked or private numbers". I wonder why they are abandoning it.

Mainly because probably 90% of incoming calls to my phone were rejected by this system for this reason. Despite me being fine with blocked or private numbers (some of them do come through)

Dammit... now i'm gonna have to manually reject Private Number calls, and they're gonna know I heard it ringing!!

Can't say that I will miss it- it was rather rubbish. And Cell C have stated that they functionality will be available through different mediums. So let's see how it pans out...
