Cell C network down

Anyone getting any signal on your Cell C phone/sim? Just phoned autopage and asked if there is any problems. Lady said no and she took me through the procedure of changing the networks, which I did before phoning them.

Anyways wile she was waiting for me to change cellphones and sims, blah, blah, blah. She told me, they just recieved a notification, there is a general problem with the Cell C network. I am in Sandton at the moment.

Anyone else got signal? :confused:
 
also down, just phoned them and they said they are having problems but not all numbers are affected, i guess we're just part of the lucky few
 
gotta love this place, its so up to date with what's going on and would've saved me from dismantling my phone 20 times in the last few hours!! :)

Still seems to be down for me (in Illovo)!

I think it's a database containing the numbers authorised to access the network...
 
24/07 ... and it is still down! My wife has a 0848 number and it's been off since yesterday. Cell C, this is pathetic.

Yea mine seems 2 be working alright this morning meaning I can receive incoming calls & make outgoing calls, however the GPRS in all kinds of messed up :sick: Dunno bout MMS either tho

They cant give me an ETA either :mad:

My # starts with 0845

Yes, I actually thought tyhat my phone was bust becuase my phone was not getting any signal and my wife's phone was. When I reached the office this morning I had signal again.
