Cell C offering iPhone 4S

So what is the starting price?

No mention of the 4S is made, only the 4, and who still pays that amount for a device that is already struggling?

Who in there right mind would want an iPhone, iOS is far behind Android and is very limited. Plus iPhone specs are also very far behind rivals like Motorola, Samsung & HTC.... Compare price and specs iPhone does not look appealing.

Far behind which Android? The majority (read: the people who actually buy and use stock phone OS) that still runs 2.3 Gingerbread? :p

I know a lot of people who would want an iPhone, not myself but I have different requirements. Good move from Cell C, but they should have been stocking them already.
 
I have an iPad and a Galaxy-S phone (running cm9) and I get far more enjoyment from the Android OS. My next phone will be another Android.
 
I was hoping to read about some exclusivity agreement that Cell C has for the upcoming iPhone 5
Isn't it late for the 4S?

I am also running CM9 on my S2. It runs like a dream! Such a big upgrade from stock :D Dunno why it took me this long to upgrade. And to be honest, I agree and I also think it is a better OS than iOS after meddling with my brothers iPhone.
 
Im impressed, Cell C seems to be booming now that Alan has taken over. Hope they release more interesting **** and offer better network coverage in the future.

The 4 is still perfectly usable, so definitely not too late for the 4S.

What on earth are you on about? iOS is hardly 'far' behind Android. In terms of the specs, the iPhone is still up there. Hell, it still has one of the most powerful GPU's around. If I recall, the only thing that beats it is Apple's own iPad.

Geesshhh this is kinda late to jump onto the iphone bandwagon now aint it ??? Its like bragging about offering an old shape car now with the new model being announced / launched in a month or two... More like a slap in the face for the SA consumer... Want to impress me ? How about ensuring you have stock very early on the new iphone model when it gets launched... Not in true african style 6 - 7 months after the rest of the world.

Maybe...but you can't deny that the iPhone is one of the world's most popular cellphones.
