He there folks

Just a short note to inform you that we are really trying hard to get info from Cell C on a variety of issues, but for the past few days the company does not answer any calls, does not reply to any emails and does not respond to any messages which are left.

I don’t know whether they have been instructed to shut us out or whether they are simply useless, but we will continue to try to get info from them and confirm information which we receive.

BTW: We are still waiting to hear from their champion CEO Trevor Noah ;)

It's a real battle to get through to Customer Care (140). I got disconnected so many times last night that I gave up. I only got through this morning after some more disconnects. When I phoned before 07:00 this morning and still got the recorded "we are experiencing high call volumes ... (please send us a e-mail)" message I almost lost it. When I eventually got to the correct agent she was good and friendly (no use having a go at these underpaid overstressed call centre agents anyway).

Bit harsh don't you think? Give them sometime!

They are PR, especially when dealing with a major online news outlet there shouldnt be any time needed.

Methinks the recent campaign was all PR and no substance. Okay I like the 21MBPs per second network, but I havent seen any fundamental changes to how Cell C operates that will ultimately benefit the consumer.

4Gs = service with a small s.

Losers.

Calling a spade a rusty shovel? Not harsh at all...

maybe they having problems with cellphone reception ;) ... just like the rest of their subscribers :)
I absolutely hate phoning anyone on the cellc network ... constant disconnects and dropped calls ... if u ever connected at all ....
don't see how they can offer a 4G service when they can't even get analog right :)

Think the speed bus got a flat & they cant get any calls thru to get help.
