Since you actually can't give a reason as to why the other devices are better than a Blackberry? I will assume you have never worked with one and just talking about something you have no idea of.

Maybe if you weren't trying to punt pos Nokia's, people would take you seriously? Has it occurred to you that the reason why there are no Nukia sub forums on myBB, is because nobody gives a flying %&#$ about them except yourself?

I totally disagree with your Nokia points of view. A few years back almost everyone had a Nokia, fast forward and they've mostly jumped ship to other brands (Apple, HTC, Blackberry), mainly because of some seriously rubbish N series devices which were released. I even know someone who hated his N series phone so much that he purposely drove over it (multiple times)...

Of the people I know, VERY few still use Nokia and when they do its because theyre middle aged and dont know much about technology. They just go for the brand they know.

-I would bundle Sony Ericsson's in the same category as Nokia. Ive had a p1i and 3 w890's which crashed all the time, I personally will never buy SE again.

I am not a fanboi, but recently had to upgrade and did some research on all the latest phones on the market and there is no way the iOs4 is better than a BlackBerry.

Features that only became available with the iOS4

What’s new:

* Homescreen wallpapers
* Folder organization of the homescreen icons
* Multitasking and fast app switching
* SMS character counter
* SMS search
* Email threading
* Unified Email inbox
* Email archiving is now available when you setup Gmail
* Spell checker

My previous BlackBerry had all this features and its a 2008 model.

What’s still missing:

# No quick toggles for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or 3G
# No social networking integration
# SMS tones are still not customizable
# No mass mark emails as read
# No proper file browser or access to the file system
# No USB mass storage mode
#No Bluetooth file transfers to other mobile phones
# No SMS/MMS delivery notifications
# No smart dialing (but Spotlight is a somewhat of a substitute)
# No DivX or XviD video support and no official third-party application to play that
# The whole iPhone is too dependent on iTunes - you cannot add the same type of content (video, photos, apps) to the phone from two computers, a regular file management interface would have been much better

Again my 2008 BlackBerry already got all these features so getting an Iphone would be a downgrade.

I am not hating on the Iphone I wanted to get one, but the phone seems to lack a lot of features that come standard with the BlackBerry.

I'm a few years away from being middle aged but I have used Nokia phones more extensively than you will ever be able to do with any fruit. I was around when Psion slapped Blackberry in die face (yeah, Psion is Symbian's grand dad). I used a Nokia 6210 via Irda to dial-up over HSCSD - modem tethering is something fruits only recently managed and then they have the audacity to call them selves business phones! I downloaded Jabber and IRC J2ME midlets on a 7250i when GPRS still cost R25/MB - I had chat on my phones before blackberry dreamed up BiS. Unlimited downloads? I downloaded gigabytes for free using my 6230 via USB back in 2005/2006 when EDGE was still in trail phase and Vodacom had a billing issue on packet data. Seeing a phone download at 28kb/s was pretty awesome - know it was for free... well that was out of this world!

I took some pretty sweet photos on a 6230i and 6233 before N-series hit it big and then when I finally got N-series I went for the imaging king - the N82 and let me tell you something sonny, some of my N82 pics will make keen hobbyist with SLR cameras pay attention.

So you still think I am middle aged and just go for the brand they know? No - I go for phones that enable me to do the new stuff first and to kick ass while I am doing it. Blackberries are supposed to be for business people but seriously, an E-series takes the snot out of it and it works perfectly without the need for special internet. I do more on a 5800XM using SymVPN & SymRDP than most deadwood managers with TwakBerries can even comprehend.
