Yes, my whooosh has mostly been fffffft since January 1, see here.
I've been doing speedtests daily and recording my results, will transpose my results table and update it soon.
 
Now that what I call WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH and good bye 5gig in about 10minutes or less :)

Hey everyone i am really interested in getting the fastest version of this (black dongle)?

After having constant problems with my adsl, the "technicians" have been out here countless times to fix it (live in northcliff really not such a bad area and infrastructure seems to be pretty good lol)

Basically im on the slowest adsl 384kb i think because the lines are so uselss that they keep dropping on anything above this.

Would just like to know if anyone here lives in the fairland area or closeby (i'm right next to the mosaic church basically and what are your experiences, because if it is going to be just as unstable as my adsl line then i would rather just leave it.

Also can someone connect wirelessly to it such as my parents do now (they connect wirelessly through the router while im on the adsl) as everyone uses the internet here and i don't want it to only work on my computer

I haven't bought Cell C due to the fact I was on the border of the 3G coverage, BUT, I saw today that the coverage map is now RED over most of Equestria and Silverlakes. It seems the Cell C techies has been busy activating a few more towers during Jan. That might be the reason that you got a nice boost

Yes, you can.

You have more than one choice.

1. Use WindowsXP/Win7 Internet Connection Sharing.
2. Get another PC, install Ubuntu on it, and use that as your firewall/router

Hmmm... my brother lives close to Silver Lakes... gotta go do a test run again and see if it improved.

Lol, I'm Durban south area.
What I find strange tho, is that the x10 is only capable of 7.2 Mb/s, how it managed full throttle I dunno?!?! I usually average around 3Mb/s... :D

...probably a fail in the speedtest software or something?? if the device only supports 7.2mb/sec there is no way you can get more than that...me thing software fail or something....

Anyone more clued up that can comment??
