Cell C Speed Test Results

speedtest.net is the best to the london server i just went to cell c down the road the test the speeds and so on all looks great speeds of 10mb + (in shop) probl. have booster. But the pings is like 585ms to the london server upload 1mb+-. i need someone who plays guild wars to tell me if there is any diff in connections (pings/007/and so on)

the pings im getting from the cell c shop is +- the same as my vodacom pings to the london server test and i also find out just now that the R2999 die 5gig x12 is only a start promo from feb it will probl fall away current prepaid bundles is 1gig max at R250-00 still cheaper than vodacom R289 for 1gig

Whats this booster you speak of? Where can I get one?

Ja I guess that might have been the case on Sunday Night. I would have it a guess I am about 4km from the nearest 3G tower. However the reading I got on Sunday night said I was connected to the Florida Hills tower, which tells me a different story, however I have not been able to confirm the 3G connection since, although the same tower is displayed on the mdma. It will take a month or 3 and then I should be smiling, lets see what happens. Perhaps I should drive around and see how close the 3G signal is as it surrounds me on 3 sides at about 4km off.

Call the Cell C call center and make a formal complaint they should look into it, they can put a repeater at your house if you complain enough.

I'm impressed, I was expecting the worst, but so far it seems to be OK.
 
I am so bitter right now!! 7.2mbps "Speedstick" and I'm getting 0.15mbps!!!!!!!
