Here is a heads-up to the Cell C rep, who will hopefully whisper in AKC's ear...

So, I bought two new iPad mini's for my girlfriend and I. I needed to purchase a Nano SIM card for both of these devices, as we were looking at using around 2GB of data per month each.

I walk into a Cell C store, and ask how much a Nano SIM would cost.....R 260.00 each, before loading data onto it !!!! what a ripoff...

Yes, I know most Cell C stores are privately owned, and the owners are given Carte Blanche as to their own pricing structure - but that is the problem that Cell C needs to fix. I also know that I can cut a SIM down to size and hope it fits and doesn't get jammed into my new iPad mini...

I then went to an 8ta store and asked about nano SIM's - yes they had stock, and it would cost R 1.00 each including doing the RICA for me.

Guess who I went with ?

Now, I figure Cell C needs to re-structure their conditions with their franchised stores. I think SIM cards should be sold at a fixed nominal price - even if Cell C compensates the store owners. Can you imagine how much business Cell C is losing due to their unscrupulous stores ?

Voda? I imagine R65 as a sim swap or free/R202 with a new contract.
