Cell C top with migrations

Well I am glad people are migrating to them. They made a big change which focused on prices mainly and it is paying off. Should be a lesson for VC and MTN to react and match them.

top migration my @ss! they cant even migrate their useless billing system for starters! I am still having debit order issues since January and to date nothing is resolved even though i reconfirmed my credit card details countless times! This is TOP migration for you!

ive had similar issues with telkom and countless over charged data bundles with mtn(OVER 5 TIMES ALREADY!) but never any issues with cell c,only i find mtn answers their phones quicker, cell c needs to stop being like vodacom and invest in more call centres urgently!

Even though Cell C made big changes their services were still pathetic to the point where I actually switched to vodacom... Vodacom had better prices than Cell C and their services have been much better for me... bdw I was with Cell C for 5 years before I migrated...

I also wonder how much Cell C paid(bribed) for those "surveys" and I question the validity of these statements in the article:erm:

Lets make competition work !

Lets make competition work !

We have approximately 45 Million people in SA.

We have a realistic penetration rate of 90% which in my Opinion will remain forever.

That is 40 Million Handsets in Operation.

Approximately 50 % of our population have a second Active Sim.

That is another 20 Million more sim Cards.

There are approximately 5 Million Wireless 3G data users in this Country.

When RiCA kicks in all unused and unregistered revenue earning sims have to be deleted.

That would FREE up almost 10 Million Numbers.

In order for competition to work at its best, we need

Each mobile Operator to have 10 Million Active Users.

Currently Vodacom, MTN and Cell-C have that.

8ta needs to be very aggressive in order to get users to switch.
At their current rate they are doomed to fail - The writings everywhere.

So guys lets boost Cell-C Voice and Data afterall they are very affordable.

Once they reach good numbers for data we can decide to empower others.

Right now their is too much demand for Services and prices will remain high.

Action : Move all services away from MTN and Vodacom - I have done that already.

Use ADSL if its available to you. Much cheaper and more stable. Keep your 3G Dongle for emergencies.

Neotel has the Cheapest Voice Rates in the Country but poor Coverage.
Lets hope they do something about it.

Use Voip Like FNB and VOX and ECN if you can.

Think and invest your money wisely.

ONLY we can do it. Go spread the word.

Go away... the more people that join Cell C in my area the more I have to share the tower in my area.

When I joined woosh in December I had 9 meg average speed, lately I'm only getting 2/4 megs. I also noticed with cell breathing that the tower signal is getting weaker. Was 65 in December now getting 77 to 83 during the day/afternoon and 72 late at night.

Next year I'm moving our personnel and business contracts from VC to Cell C. 8 Contracts in total.

I'll be switching to Cell C in June. Wife next year

You're switching wives next year? :wtf:

:p

people over the age of 50 were the biggest group to rate Vodacom the most innovative provider. MTN was rated second overall with their biggest fans falling in the under 30 age group

So, in general, the (old) people who don't know much about technology are fooled by VC, and the (young) people who don't know much about anything are fooled by MTN.

Sad, but interesting.

^^^It can into effect last week.
I suppose you can cancel your contract now.
