Cell C's broadband conundrum

cell C has been chasing me to sign a voice contract - seems they have inside info from Vodacom as they know exactly what my mobile spending is. However, I will use smoke signals before I use them

Maybe cellc should just be cheaper per MB and let vodacom take the speed

+ 1

If you cannot compete undercut them, lots of people are happy with 10KB/s
Who wants to download at 7 MB/s if you pay through your &&%*#...

Cell C are in a better position to harness the lower-income and rural markets - they must just learn how to tap into it with affordability at the core and they can over-take VC in next to no time.

Why the hell should lower income users have to tolerate anything less than 3G speeds? Why should ANYONE have to tolerate this?

Virgin does that pretty well. But there are many people out there that loves paying R2 per MB because vodacom data is like driving a Porsche

What if they give uncapped for web browsing only and not downloading like openbrowes. Do it cheap for people only needing emails and web surfing from their phones or phone+laptop.
