Cell C's fibre a hit

I got a good feedback from C-Fibre users. They were previously on Mweb (If remember correctly) and it didn't work. Now is running about 10 months on C-Fibre 20/20Mbit unlimited, the same fibre installation by Vumatel, no complains. A backup 1+1GBp/m backup SIM card was never used.
 
It’s one year I’m on their map with 100mbps available.

Their map is actually not accurate and there is no fiber infrastructure to the building, which I learnt 4 months after subscribing.

Obviously they are unable to give an ETA.

On the other hand, it’s now been 3 months that they do invoice for inexistant fiber and it takes a hell of an effort to get them to correct it.

So yes, it was definitely hit by Cell C’s fibre.

Well, I applied for Fibre, and within 3 days, Vumatel installers came to put some cable in my roof and a lovely white box with a bright blue flashing power light.

Other than this lovely christmas decoration which includes a vast array of empty promises, I have yet to discover whether or not Fibre is indeed a myth.

Only gripe I have with C-Fibre is no local peering in Cape Town. Otherwise it's stable and speeds are good.

I mean does your international traffic also go via Johannesburg?

Edit: What I really mean is does traffic go via Johannesburg and back to Cape Town, or does it exit via Durban?
