CellC 100/200gb Giga prepaid bundle

Hi there

Can anyone advise if these data bundles work on Vodacom. ie Where vodacom extends CellC coverage. Just wondering as I want to buy it for my phone and don't want to hit a roaming spot and then data consumes airtime.

Have it. Doesn't roam the data bundle.

Its my main internet service at home. When going on holiday, I pop it into my tablet and tether the connection over wifi to everyone. When driving, the sim will roam to VC but no data comes through. In fact, I usually lock the network connection to Cell C to prevent this pointless roaming.

I'm not sure, but you may be able to buy "normal" cell C bundles on top of the giga bundle which should roam...
 
i bought the CellC 200gig prepaid data bundle earlier this year.

its been working OK so far but for the past few days i am experiencing VERY LOW speeds
i cant even open Facebook or Youtube properly.

i thought that my anytime data was finished so i have been trying it after midnight and its still the same.

i live in Phoenix, Durban.
 
I also had some issues with disconnects and slow speeds yesterday (in PTA). Power cycled a few times, seems to be fine today. Probably network maintenance.

In general I'm quite happy with the speed I'm getting (~20mbps on local speedtest.net servers).
 
mines still slow
i have to wait for at least 3-4 mins before Facebook loads
and as for Youtube, forget it

my cellphone is Telkom and my 3G dongle is CellC

unless i insert the the CellC SIM into my phone and use that to complain to CellC and then replace it into the modem/dongle.
