What type of spam are you receiving ? DIRECT marketing - Nigerian Scam SMS(Congratulations your number .......)

Just SMS "STOP" or complain to WASPA if the particular number is listed with them

The spam is in the form of Please call..... They are offering life insurance, lawyer services etc. From at least 3 different numbers.

This is a data 5G sim and I am the only person who knows the number. I can only assume CellC has sold a list of numbers to someone as it is highly unlikely that 3 different people "accidentally' guessed and then sent a please call to my number.

If I could ever get through to someone at their call centres 011 324 4000 is broken, 011 324 8000 cuts off if anyone tries to transfer you. When I did get through once the guy tried to tell me that it must be random wrong numbers. LOL.

At some point, if enough people gripe about these companies (who are not tiny unheard-of operations), some more significant people could become aware of it who'll take action. I'm sure there are enough of us who've had enough of the unsolicited rubbish, to note down the details and complain to the service providers
