CellC and Month Ends

i cannot even connect to google... using my vodascum connection atm.
Anyone else having connectivity issues in Seapoint...cpt
 
Ah man this sucks. I have 1.9/2gb to burn and now it basically completely unusable :(
I can connect but the most I managed was the cell c homepage. Even balance check/ussd times out most of the time. Hasn't been working since I got home.

connects but cant browse or download. not even cellc site opens. Wtf is up with cellc?
 
1gb left and no carry over. This is ****ing unacceptable.

I also demand a carryover. I have 1.5GB left and I'm unable to use it. Not only at the end of the month, throughout the whole month. I think I should print stickers and put it on my car letting people know not to buy this product.

As long as it is true, Cell-C can't do anything to me if I do that.
 
Me too. Dead in the water. I was downloading from Filesonic and around 7pm the download stopped. Disconnect/reconnect doesn't help.

I can do nslookups but pings don't work.
Tracert gives:

Even the Cell C website is dead (checking via ADSL and MTN 3G). Even their mobile site.

Tracert via ADSL gives (properly):

EDIT: Finally got in to the website. Not capped -> 245 MB remaining. Thank goodness I started blowing my cap a few days ago!

Well it seems that it is the whole of the country that are affected. Not even the customer care centre is working.
 
Yeah same here in Alberton/Germiston area.
Early evening had connection, slow and lot of disconnects, but then nothing.
Was on the phone for 26 minutes without any joy.
 
Also completely dead, cannot do anything, posting this using my Vodacom phone SIM.

Light is blue on black E1820 Cell C modem, but it is totally dead (like the parrot !!!).

Cell C need to do something about this, maybe throttle some users, but this total failure is just not acceptable.

But all y'all trying to hammer your caps on the last day of the month, it serves you right. :mad:
You make the network unusable for the rest of us everyday users around this time.
It's no biggie for me that it's down, i wasn't expecting to get much usage out of it tonight anyway.
I think I have about 300 mg available on both my cards atm :D
