Saw it on the Makro advertisement, is this correct?

Everywhere else still R1800. Unfortunately they don't have shipping facilities...

HI

Not that i am aware of can try find out, but best bet would be to get hold of Makro.
Remember Makro have there own specials.

You know we are bringing out the 100GB package for R2499 valid for a year to use any time.

Well I just confirmed with Makro via Telephone that it's R1599 and that they have stock.
Lets see if it's actually true when I get one tomorrow. According to the advertisement special lasts till 23 December.

I'd gladly choose the additional 150Gig midnight cap, for R800 less above the additional 50Gig cap you can use anytime.

That way I can do the big Steam updates without using up my day cap, 4 Gig day cap should be enough for me.

Is this deal still going on? Because I had a look in a recent Makro ad and saw that it's still advertised at R1599.

I was thinking it might well be worth getting this even though I'm still on the 2 GB p/m deal. I mean, look at the 60 GB option (5 GB p/m). It's currently at R9240! It was R4500. That's madness. I don't know if I'd use the 150 GB, although I probably could find use with it like Steam, YouTube, etc. It's just too good an offer to pass on, especially at Makro's price. No monthly caps, either. I would wait until my other deal expires, but I think I'd end up regretting it. It sucks that you have to get it on another sim though...

My dad has basically taken over my 2 + 2 Gig Vodacom sim, although I did use the night owl to get around some problem I was having with the Wii U on CellC.
Sure as hell not gonna wait 12 months+ for a contract to expire, in order to finally get adequate amount of bandwith.

It's simply to good of a deal to pass.

Wish that they would have a special on the Giga100.

It costs R2499 at Cell C stores, something like R2200 would be great !

We can do that but just be aware that the Giga200 is not LTE enabled and will not work at LTE speeds. I have tested this, so I am sure that this is correct - the same applies to the standard Gig100, it will also not work on LTE.

DEpends where it came from. Check the box for all UMTS frequencies. It sould be 2100MHz (for all networks) and 900MHz (for Cell C).

Can I use these deals with my Cell-C Huawei E1820? My 5gb x 12 months package is finished now.

Yes, the E1820 works just fine with the Giga200. The Giga100 should be fine as well.

Thanks, Jola. I'm just a bit confused/suspicious about something: why are these Giga deals so attractive whilst Cell C now charges over R9000 for the original 5gbx12 month package I had? What's the catch here?

The old one is obsolete, don't even think about it.
