CellC Giga 200 @ R1599?

Thanks, Jola. I'm just a bit confused/suspicious about something: why are these Giga deals so attractive whilst Cell C now charges over R9000 for the original 5gbx12 month package I had? What's the catch here?

I also find it confusing I remember they changed the price to R4499, now it's like double the price. Just remember if you purchase the DATA SIM CARD, you get a new number but you can probably port your number to the new simcard just ask the sales person, Representative on here if you can do that but bare in mind if you do that you will forfeit your "Real Deal 99cent" package.

Giga packages can't do Vodacom data roaming. Normal packages will only roam on EGDE. Not sure it can roam for voice calls (8ta GoBig packages do not).

I don't use it to call, it just goes in the speed stick and connects to the Cell C network in the places where I use it the most.

This is a catch. You pay less, as Cell C don't pay fees to Voda. If you don't mind, this is the best data package on the market.
