Don't even bother replying to this post from Cell C. I "pre-ordered" my phone. I even spoke to one of Cell C's consultants and submitted my documents. They even went as far as to give me a delivery date for when I should expect my phone. Now here i sit, almost a month later with no phone. I have called customer service multiple times, I have sent them emails, I even posted a report on HelloPeter.com. This is a lie from Cell C, they are claiming to have the IPhone 5 in order to keep existing customers atract new one's. They don't even have the SIM cards used by the IPhone 5 yet!!!

Looks like they only get a few handsets with the bulk of it going to mtn and Vodacom

Called again today. Lady says Nano sims are coming in on Thursday. Wont get my hopes up though. Im sure there are many orders before mine.

Dudes stop wasting your time just go to Cell C reversquare they have stock a budddy of mine got his on friday after I posted a heads up for the my bb members.

Unless you are from ct or somewhere far then its understandable but in either case its till worth waiting for them to get stock since the Cell C deal simply whips anything else mtn and vodacom can offer out of the water,I got mine last month and was pleasantly surprised to find that the free minutes etc carry over for three months if not used.

An iphone 5,200 minutes anytime per second billing,500mb data,200 sms's and out of bundle call rate of 99c per minute all for R399 per month?!!!?Cell C are really giving em away!

Its a frikking insane deal by South African standards!!!!!!Nothing the competition offers even comes close and the deal is even better than Cell C's own deals on stuff like the s3 for R329 etc

Not sure what the situation is today, but I walked into CellC fourways on the 27th Dec and walked out on the 29th with a 16GB iPhone 5 black. My wife was contacted by head office (seem to be clued up) when I popped CellC Rep with a PM (same day). They told her 7 to 10 days.

I did a sim swap about a week ago because they told me they couldn't ship from Cell C direct without a nano sim... so I told them to just ship it without the sim and I will go and get a sim when they become available.... so much for that...

Been waiting for a month, every time I call they tell me the order has been shipped or is about to ship within the next few days... every time I call back the story changes. Delay after delay... honesty is the best policy. If they had just told me from the get-go what the real situation was I wouldn't be so mad.
