Still havent got my phone. The told me last week they got the phone but dont have stock of the nano sim. I go on holiday on Friday, if I dont get it by then I am cancelling the contract.

take a micro and cut it,my buddy did that with an imported i5 and its working fine until now.Dont worry about the thickness stories he did not file his down at all.

You're over complicating this lol I went into Cell C and took out an iphone 5 last month with a normal micro sim,i just told them I'm giving the phone as a gift so i don't want a nano sim.They gave me what I wanted no hassle.

Then you take that contract micro sim and cut it to size,don't stress its very hard to mess it up but in any event if you somehow do manage to then an additional sim at Cell C costed me just R29 for a micro sim. (I took one micro and one normal on the same contract to use data on my tablet also but the one has to be off for the other to work)

Edit: Called Cell C direct, they have stock of the phone, no sim cards

Have teh same issue when i followed up today. phone available on back order because no nano sims in stock.....

To those in jhb willing to take a half hour to 45 min drive to vereeniging phone Cell C river square they had stock earlier this morning a friend of mine went in store and got it immediately.

I don't know if they have right now but they had this morning, if you keen a simple phone call will verify if they have or not at this point in time.

Just ported to Cell C from VodaCON and i am loving it. connection is great and data speed is awesome!!!

Now i decide if i should wait for the Samsung S3 to come down in price or to just get Iphone 5....hmmmm decisions decisions

Ordered mine on 17 Dec, and still waiting. New contract iPhone 5 32GB R699/month deal.

I'm quite prepared to make my own plan as far a SIM card is concerned. Come on Cell C, send me the phone please...

Did anyone call the call centre today and see what the status is?

Looks like they only get a few handsets with the bulk of it going to mtn and Vodacom
