CellC is crap!!!

Ported 2 Vodacom sims to CellC and took a new prepaid sim as well, and in the first 2/3 weeks the network was satisfactory.

Now all of a sudden I can't even browse the net. My kids are complaining they can't even receive whatsapp messages properly. 3 different phones ( S4 active, Z3 and iCrap 5s) , displaying almost full bars of 3G or H+.

I'm hopping back to Vodacom. Only good thing I got from CellC is personalizing my number.

Because there is a period of a few months in which you are not allowed to port again...

Because there is a period of a few months in which you are not allowed to port again...

6 weeks. I know of the 3 month period but I think I'll get lucky and it will work. Let's see...

I was a loyal Cell C customer for more than 12 years. And when "they" Cell C got ****ty I ported to another service provider...

that actually provides service !!!!!!

This happened to me as well but it only happened for two nights last month the rest of the time it was fine. This has not happened before but it is annoying. I am waiting for the fibre that's being installed in my area to be ready and then it's goodbye cellc.

Well, you might be surprised when you port back. Didn't you notice that you are roaming Vodacom right now?
Full signal comes from Vodacom roaming tower, which allow device to register but blocks all traffic.
