CellC users uniting for another good deal in 2012

I'm not seeing much happening on CellC's website for new prepaid deals, and we all fear the current deal will expire very soon.

So here is the rallying call to CellC from it's enthusiastic and loyal customers - let's have more of the same next year!

Sure you've lost some of your good people this year, but the best people are still with you - us! So be nice, and lead us not into temptation (as in porting).

CellC fans, feel free to add your voice to this call. And the "Unsustainables" can also join the call - who knows, you might enjoy the feeling of not being reamed for another year.

I'm up for contract renewal next year. I will stick with CellC again - even though they have spotty coverage in the boondocks. At least I don't have to worry about getting ripped when I have to venture on OOB territory.

I'm satisfied with their service so far.

I have two CellC contracts and one prepaid data due for upgrade/update in June/July and will be porting at least one contract to Vodacom due to poor coverage in Amazimtoti where my daughter lives and I might just switch to ADSL for the data offering.

The last contract might be terminated completely.

And BTW, CellC lost a lot more good staff than just Lars and Ron (two awesome guys).

I think for many of us it's going to depend on whether Cell C kept its promises in the past year. Certainly in my area (Rustenburg and environs) it did not -- this time last year when the special deals were announced we were told Whoosh was imminent. It's still imminent.....

I doubt we will see any new promotions from Cell C anytime soon.

They didn't even keep their promise of covering 97% of SA by the end of 2011, so I doubt anything new will come from them.

I'm still a happy Cell C client though...

The whoooosh never arrived in our area, but i was and is still happy with the 1.5 - 2.0 speed i get on the R50 promo. If they don't follow up with a good deal before 1st Jan, it's time to try the VC MyGig 20 Once-off...R 499.00 for 2 months.

Update;
I've checked out the VC forum now and saw people complaining about throttling on the MyGig 20 Once-off bundle, c'mon CellC give us another promo please.

Don't think CellC will surprise us anytime soon.
I've already jumped to the VC 20GB bundle and it works just fine.
Will grab another on the 3rd Jan to keep me online till end of Feb.

I loved the performance of Cell C. Unfortunately I don't believe 120Gb @ R8000 is worthwhile. I was ready to purchase @ R4000 unfortunately the special ended before I could get hold of one. I have now switched to the vodacom 20Gb bundle. Performance was pretty horrible at the start but still worth the money. Things have got much better since I signed up so I will definitely get another 20Gb in January. After that, it will be whoever's cheapest. Hopefully its Cell C
