How much cereal you really get in a box

Testing by MyBroadband revealed that cereal boxes give an exaggerated perception of the amount of cereal in the box but that you do get what you pay for.

The size of cereal boxes is a widely discussed topic, with some arguing that oversized packaging creates the illusion that it contains more product.

a) Is this how low MyBB has sunk in trying to come up with articles. I thought the "lets send off some letters via SAPO and see what happens" were the low point ...

b) Can you do another one, but this time remove all the crushed up stuff at the bottom of the bag that you never eat anyway? I want to know how much the actual edible full pieces count for in the box.

I'm confused now. Because a) you are complaining about the article and b) asking for a follow up article?

Yes, it is. I suggest you stop visiting MyBroadband in protest. Don't reward these articles with a click or comment, it only encourages us ;)

My cousin stayed over ofr a few days recently and her little princess only eats Coco Pops. R58 for a 350gram box. I was tempted to tell her to stop thinking the sun shines out of her little brat princesses a$$

Get those generic ones and put them in the Kaka-Pops box....

It's filled with air to help the cereal stay fresh, and to protect it from damage. They do fill a lot of extra air though.

Now do a packet of Lays!

Just Googled, the air is actually nitrogen gas. I had to check because I know air to be an enemy of starch.

You whinnies can complain about the article but I actually bothered to buy a pack of Cocoa pops the other day and came to a similar conclusion, glad to see it's more widespread (unfortunately)
