Changing from Blackra1n to Spririt.

I'm trying to upgrade my iPhone to 3.1.3 and jailbreak it with spirit to get rid of the tethered reboot thing.

So how do I do this? I have tried to do a restore, but the phone goes to a black screen and iTunes give me an error. What am I doing wrong?

Try Recovery/DFU mode. google it

I got it into DFU mode. It frose at the white screen with the same error in iTunes.

I switched it off. rebooted it with blackra1n again. Put it into DFU mode again. frose again at the white screen.

Trying a third time. Eish

ok so by doing exactly the same thing a third time it worked. Sheesh
