Hey guys, doing my bit to spread the 10.10 love.

I have setup a USB stick with persistence, if I change say Firefox to Chrome will it install Chrome as the standard package when I install it on a new PC or will it try download and "revert" back to vanilla Ubuntu?

In a nutshell if I change the USB packages will it populate with these packages?

I would say it's possible but not necessarily in they way you want to do it. Why don't you try your proposed method first by installing to a vitual machine just for testing?

I suspect you would have to remaster the iso image first before creating the usb install media but I could be wrong.
