If you bought another one please can I come to your next braai?I had a Volcano speaker for a few years. Was very happy with the battery life and sound quality, until I left it outside one evening after a braai and someone else decided they wanted it more than I did.
Forgot to mention, my wife had that Volcano one and it was rubbish. Also died on day 366.I am very happy with this one (for the price of course)

They can't stay plugged in / mains powered?Battery life becomes an issue in a office. They normally last 3 to 5 hours. so you need to keep them charging. We ended up replacing ours at the office with a normal radio.
i have no idea. We used a jvc but never left it plugged in.They can't stay plugged in / mains powered?
I've just tried with the Blaupunkt and it plays while charging. No idea what this would do to the battery long-term. I'll report back if it loses charge while playing and charging, or charges. I presume the former. Cheap enough to try. They can't stay plugged in / mains powered?

On these cheap units it might become a makeshift bomb. Got the https://www.takealot.com/creative-halo-portable-bluetooth-speaker-black/PLID48393836 for R250 and it's good. Just missing some bass. Had a Dixon before but it wasn't great. Battery only charged to 80% and sound was noisy. They can't stay plugged in / mains powered?
My JBL has a hiss when you use it while plugged in.They can't stay plugged in / mains powered?
