Cheap Local Linux Hosting

Can anyone point me in the direction of some cheap local linux hosting.

Don't need much - just SSH access - want to run OpenVPN on the box.

Looks decent - but I cannot select the JHB hosting - says that it is temporarily unavailable.

Local - webafrica had VPS going for R99pm last time I checked. Digital Ocean and the like are much cheaper especially if you consider all the signup vouchers etc floating around.
